Business Placement Service
The Business Placements Service works with all types and sizes of businesses in Cumbria and North Lancashire to find current EU students or graduates with the skills required to complete short-term business projects (between two and 13 weeks).
We are also able to help with projects that do not fall within this timescale.

Payments made to the student or graduate are free of NI and tax contributions*

Council subsidies may be available to help with the cost of your placement student
* For placements of between two and 13 weeks in duration

Support you to ensure that the student achieves the best for your business

Administer and pay them for up to four weeks to undertake work on your project.

UNITE with Business
We are currently running a project called UNITE with business, which could provide up to four weeks help at no cost to the business. *
Aimed at helping small businesses in the North West, this project provides business support for a period of up to 20 days, via graduates and final year university undergraduate students. The nature of the work is to address a skills or resource shortage within the company.
The graduate / student will be sourced with business needs as a priority, thus possessing the skills required to undertake the task. All graduates, final year undergraduates, regardless of university of origin, are considered eligible for consideration.
UNITE with business could provide up to four weeks help at NO COST to you.
