Adventure and Media – BA (Hons)

Today’s outdoor industry requires individuals who can provide a high degree of competent leadership and capture the elements of adventures as they unfold. This is a dedicated programme that integrates adventure activities and the visual image. With the stunning Lake District as a backdrop, you will study a diverse range of modules, from still photography and adventure filming, to outdoor leadership and expedition management. As a graduate, you will be equipped to pursue a career in outdoor instruction, educational development and youth work, in media production for independent enterprises or as a freelancer for media outlets. The course also prepares you for any field of endeavour where tested leadership skills, sound logistical planning and creative thought are essential ingredients.
