Managing the University of Cumbria

The university management operates at three levels:

Board of Directors

The University of Cumbria Board is responsible for the entire control and management of the new institution. They approve budgets and expenditure, and determine the educational character and objectives of the institution, as well as ensuring the effective and efficient use of the university’s resources.

Senior Management Team

The Senior Management Team meets weekly.

The University Management Team exercises executive responsibility for the delivery of the strategic and annual operational plan of the university.
