Stonewall, with the support of the TDA, hosted a series of free seminars for anyone working with trainee and newly qualified teachers. The practical half-day events were to ensure that all teachers are equipped with the information, resources and support they need to create inclusive environments where all children and young people can enjoy learning free from fear of bullying.
The University of Cumbria fully support LGBT and Stonewall initiatives, and hosted the first seminar on the 1 March, where the LGBT rainbow flag was flown over the library.
