Why adopting a people, profit, planet approach is good for business

The seminar is designed for businesses who want to have a positive impact on the environment and communities that they do business in, whilst improving their leadership skills.

Two days of seminars will show you how the two themes of leadership and sustainability can help you achieve this goal. Register now. The seminars are held at the University of Cumbria's Ambleside campus.

Objectives

  • To demonstrate and raise awareness of sustainability and how it can be a successful business model.
  • To provide an opportunity for delegates to learn and reflect on their own leadership practice.
  • To investigate how leadership and sustainability are connected and the influence this can have.
  • To provide a diverse of network of contacts enabling delegates to share experiences and learning both during and after the event.

Triple Bottom Line - Nigel Catterson and Dr Elspeth Lees.
How to measure the effects and benefits of good environmental practices in small businesses.

Why good environmental practice makes good business sense.

Costs and booking

With support from the Northern Leadership Academy cost of attending for north west based SMEs is £50 per day and £100 for two days.

All other attendees pay the full price of £150 for one day or £300 for both days.
