BSc (Hons) Managing Health and Social Care
The programme offers education and training in key management skills on an interdisciplinary basis using a nationally approved core curriculum of the Institute of Health Care Management (IHCM). In addition, the programme provides an opportunity to develop and to apply a theoretical and conceptual approach to management practice and research. The course offers management development and post graduate level education to all those working at first line supervisory and higher management levels. The programme is set within the Government’s modernisation agenda with special emphasis on KSF dimension 6 (People management) and Dimension 4 (Financial management).
