Welcome to the Research Pages of the website of the Faculty of Health andDr Robin TalbotWellbeing at the University of Cumbria. Through its legacy colleges and institutions, the Faculty has long track records in practice – based research and scholarship, and developments in applied and advance practitioner research. Across our subject/discipline areas such as Sport and physical activity, mental health, medical imaging, rehabilitation, public health social work and social care, and nursing and midwifery. We have attracted the engagement of many external agencies, including NHS North West, Skills for Care, the National Institute for Health Research, Local County Councils and NHS Trusts, Primary Care Organisations and voluntary /charitable sector bodies.

We hope that you feel confident to work in partnership with the University and I will look forward to working with you at the University.   • Further development of the Stilwell project - project were students learn within online within a virtual word. The Faculty and the institution has clear policies in place re FOI and IPR.
