Sport facilities
All of our students in Lancaster and Carlisle have access to University of Cumbria sports facilities which are run by Register of Exercise Professionals accredited staff and houses all the equipment you need to keep in shape while you study. Both branches have an air-conditioned fitness suite and a large, multi-purpose sports hall. Students at Lancaster have the added bonus of a specialist gymnastics area and an astro turf pitch.

Physiotherapy and Sport Laboratory
The Physiotherapy and Sport Laboratory is dedicated to the investigation of human performance from a clinical point of view. It's based in Carlisle and is used for the teaching of both Physiotherapy and Sports and Exercise Therapy.

Human Performance Laboratory
The Human Performance Laboratory is dedicated to the study of exercise, physiology and biomechanics. It's based in Lancaster and is used for teaching core modules through the first and second year of the Sport and Exercise Science degree, along with optional modules in the final year.
