Welcome to the Faculty of Education
It is my very great pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Education and to share your excitement as you embark on a programme with us. This will lead you into the most important vocation that exists - that of working with children and young adults.
The first years of a person's life are the most important in forming the adult they will become and the potential they will develop. You have chosen a pathway that gives you the change to really make a difference.
In the time you spend with us, you will be inspired and challenged by dynamic learning and teaching experiences with committed, enthusiastic staff in the university and out in a range of professional settings. You will be realising the potential we have spotted in you at the same time as you are helping others to do this. I wish you every success on your chosen path.
