Applications are made direct to the university using our online direct application. These are available from the course information page. Please be aware that applicants to the SKE program must obtain a confirmed place on an Initial Teacher Training scheme e.g. PGCE, GTP scheme. You should therefore pursue concurrently an application for either of these at the same time you apply for the SKE. You should apply for PGCE via the GTTR website at www.gttr.ac.uk.  If your PGCE year commences in 2013, you can still apply for 2012 and we can amend your year of entry for 2013 at a later point.

Applicants wishing to apply for the GTP scheme should apply to their local GTP provider (see The Teaching Agency website for details of providers)
