The programme aims to provide a rigorous postgraduate and management education which will help you become an effective professional or manager, giving you a thorough understanding of management techniques, marketing, accounting and finance, human resource management and strategic management. You will also undertake a supervised research project on a topic relevant to your own interests or future career plans.

This demanding but rewarding 1 year full-time programme will give you the general business knowledge and understanding as well as the personal skills needed for a wide variety of roles in junior and middle management.
Course Summary
The course will provide a programme of study that enables you to develop relevant knowledge and understanding of management, leadership and business practice derived from the three key themes.

Modules
The philosophy of the programme derives from the principles of reflective practice and experiential learning. You will engage with principles and theories of business, management and organisation to provide you with frameworks for reviewing, reflecting, analysing and critiquing existing individual and organisational practices. You will also develop new knowledge and skills to enable enhanced and more appropriate practices.

Selection criteria
Applicants will be expected to hold a good Honours degree, though this does not have to be in a related subject area. EU and overseas applicants appropriate equivalence will apply.
