Course Summary
You will undertake a work based learning module that is:

Practice focused.

Designed to extend practical and academic abilities.

Relevant to local and national service objectives and directly cross-referenced to appropriate practice frameworks (for example national service frameworks)

Designed to advance team working, in the support of holistic patient/ client care.

Specific work-based outcomes will be negotiated between designated subject tutor, workplace mentor and student, as part of the proposal and approval process.

Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of this module, using negotiated individual outcomes specific to the focus of practice, you will:

Critically analyse and synthesise information from a range of sources, exploring emerging contradictions;

Synthesise and utilise knowledge to generate new ideas and advance current practice

Demonstrate advanced judgement in problem-identification, problem-solving and decision-making within their professional role

Engage in self-appraisal and critical reflection which is targeted at identified personal and professional development needs

Lead effective communication with clients and colleagues in the development of practice
