The Drama Performance pathway is ideal to help you explore the world of contemporary theatre and learn practical performance skills as an actor. The course centres on developing skills and knowledge and making theatre pieces. Graduates can seek roles in a wide variety of sectors, including performance, the media and teaching.

The Musical Theatre Performance pathway is designed for students wishing to explore musical theatre and to practice performance skills with a special emphasis on singing. You will also have many opportunities to be involved in shows and develop your singing and performance techniques.

What can this course lead to?

With a broad range of transferable skills, graduates may seek roles as performers. Others may use the skills gained during the course to work in communication, in fields such as media, public relations and teaching.

Resources and facilities

We are proud of our facilities; we have a main theatre seating up to 180 people and also a studio theatre in-house which seats 80. Our support facilities for productions include set-construction workshops, sound recording studios and multimedia production edit suites. Rehearsal rooms include three drama studios, two singing rooms and conventional teaching spaces.
