Why study with us?

A degree in Physical Education could be your first step towards an exciting career in coaching, sport development, health development or even teaching. If you’re keen to engage in a practically-oriented course that makes the most of your talent or interest in Physical Education, then you may have found your match.

This course provides the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills that support entry into teaching and coaching careers, alongside the opportunity to explore the realms of sport development, or physical activity and health development. At the end of your second year, you will be able to participate in five-week work experience placement, where you can put your knowledge to the test. Some of our students are even offered employment or further development as a result of their placement.

In a recent external examiner’s report, the course was commended for its student support and guidance, and for the variety and quality of its teaching.
