15 & 16 July 2010 at Carlisle Cathedral - for further details and to book online go to  Carlisle July 2010|

Invitation Packs have been posted for Carlisle Cathedral ceremonies for students based at Ambleside, Carlisle and Newton Rigg completing awards validated by Lancaster University or University of Central Lancashire and for students based at any University of Cumbria campus completing awards validated by University of Cumbria.   For details of validating institutions & timetable of ceremonies, click on: Carlisle Grad July 2010 Details & Timetable|

Packs were posted on 24th February and bookings accepted via post or online from the 1st March.   

FE Presentation Day - Newton Rigg, Penrith - 11 September 2010 

FE Presentation Day 2010 will be held at Penrith Methodist Church on Saturday 11 September.  Timings and further details to follow. 

Graduation November 2010 - dates & graduating cohorts subject to confirmation

November 2010 ceremonies are expected to be held in Carlisle Cathedral during the week commencing 22 November 2010.  Dates and details of cohorts graduating to be confirmed in Spring 2010.   Invitation details will be available online to graduands in June 2010. 

This will include ceremonies for:

  • Brampton Road courses validated by University of Central Lancashire & University of Cumbria;
  • Nursing & Midwifery courses validated by Lancaster University & University of Cumbria;
  • PGCE courses validated by University of Cumbria;
  • University of Cumbria validated higher awards;
  • some undergraduate and postgraduate courses based at Newton Rigg and Fusehill St validated by University of Central Lancashire.
