Full-time undergraduate courses

Applications should be made to UCAS preferably between 01 September 2009 and 15 January 2010.

Applications submitted after this date will be considered as late by UCAS. We will try to consider everyone but some courses that are in high demand might be full by this stage. However we will always try to offer you an alternative course where possible.

Please ensure that you use the correct UCAS campus and course code on your application as not all courses are offered at every campus. Campus locations  and course codes are indicated on each course page.

You will be asked for the following information when you apply online—

• institution code name: UoC

• institution code: C99

• campus locations:

A    Ambleside
|B    Carlisle, Brampton Road|
F    Carlisle, Fusehill Street
|L    Lancaster
|P    Penrith
|T    Tower Hamlets, London

After 30 June 2010 any applications made are considered part of the UCAS clearing system but may still be considered if places remain available.

Places are confirmed to all undergraduate and foundation degree students and clearing starts after A level results day on Thursday 19 August 2010.

Part-time courses

Applications for part-time courses should be made directly to the university. You can search for part-time course provision by using our advanced course search and choosing Mode of Study.

UCAS Extra

If you have applied through UCAS and are not holding any offers, you may be able to apply through UCAS Extra for another course. Extra allows you to apply for courses with vacancies between the end of February and the end of June 2010. In Extra, you apply for one course at a time and need to have:

  • already made five choices;
  • received decisions from all these choices; and
  • either had no offers or declined all the offers you have received.

After 30 June 2010 any applications made are considered part of the UCAS clearing system but may still be considered if places remain available.

Places are confirmed to all undergraduate and foundation degree students and clearing starts after A Level results day on Thursday 19 August 2010.
