At the University of Cumbria we are committed to widening access into higher education and working closely with local schools, colleges, training organisations, career agencies and community groups to raise peoples' aspirations and awareness of continuing their education. As such the university has a dedicated Outreach team whose role is to aid the progression of people from Cumbria and Lancashire into higher education.
The Recruitment and Outreach team are able to support students with advice and guidance about all aspects of continuing education and more specifically higher education. We work with students across both counties and with all ages, including both primary and secondary school pupils and non traditional students including those wishing to return to education. We have a dedicated team based at Lancaster, Carlisle and Penrith who can be contacted about the range of activities we offer. Click on The Team |to see who we are.
If you advise people about opportunities that come from post 16 study, we can help you. We offer a full range of interactive workshops, presentations, subject taster sessions and campus visits.
