In its most recent 'University Guide', The Guardian identified the School's sport courses as being in the top-3 in the North West of England, with a particular strength in the quality of teaching.

When applying for jobs, our graduates are snapped up. We are ranked as the number one University for Sport in the North West for graduate employment in The Independent’s 2011 University guide. Our sport graduates have gone on to have successful careers in Sports Science Support, Coaching, Sports Development and School Sports Coordinating.
