Requests for Maintenance
To report a fault or for any work you require from the department(s) (see typical examples below), you will need to complete a ‘request for maintenance’ form (yellow slip) and send it to the appropriate Estates/FM office. However, any of the main receptions will also pass the forms on.
For keys, shelving, notice boards and other unscheduled work, the request for maintenance form should be accompanied by an internal requisition as the requesting department will have to fund the work.
Distribution – general distribution of goods, set up of rooms, waste collection including recycling,
Grounds - Gritting, removal of leaves, litter, restoration of damaged areas, and marking out pitches.
Heating/Plumbing - No heating, leaks, toilet/bathroom fittings, and lighting.
Joinery/Building – Locks, doors and windows, furniture, coat hooks, picture hanging.
Painting – Dealing with damp and other defects, general decorating.
