Ambleside
University Gateway sites are all individually designed. Each caters for the nature of activity on the site. Everywhere we have students or events we ensure that the academic delivery, facilities and learning resources needed are made available either provided by the University or shared with other partners.
The focus of the Ambleside Gateway campus is the Charlotte Mason heritage and a flexible learning space which forms the Charlotte Mason Building, designed to be adaptable to your needs.
The Charlotte Mason Building holds items of sports history and culture archives from the Mountain Heritage Trust as a join effort to signalling the importance of the outdoors, and to maintain the heritage and history of British mountaineering in the Lake District, the birthplace of British mountaineering.

You are able to access the Ambleside Gateway Building from Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm
Core opening Hours Monday – Friday 9am till 5pm
