Comedy
The biggest names in comedy routinely drop by at The Sands Centre. Lee Evans, Ross Noble, Jimmy Carr and Sean Lock have all performed here within the last year.
The Stanwix Arts Theatre at Brampton Road and The Brickyard have also attracted critically-acclaimed stand-ups, such as Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Josie Long, Robin Ince and Russell Kane.

The Stanwix Arts Theatre at Brampton Road is a student led and community funded venue where students, touring theatre groups, performance and musical acts of all sizes perform.
The Green Room at West Walls is an amateur theatre showcasing the best local talent in theatre performances, plays and musicals.
