RESILIENCE A Journey of Becoming Masterclass series

About The Event

Resilience

noun: the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.

As an Anchor Institution servicing the Resilience needs of many of our nation’s critical institutions such as Armed Forces, NHS, Police and Nuclear sector, the University of Cumbria provided a FREE online Resilience Masterclass season during the summer semester (April – June 2020). Primarily aimed at practitioners serving in the above sectors, we believe the themes will also resonate with those individuals from other sectors responding to the COVID-19 crisis.

Key themes include developing competent and capable people, teams and organisations, ready to identify, prevent, manage and recover from a wide range of disruption promptly while adapting to any longer-term changes, risks and opportunities.

A range of national experts, Cumbrian practitioners and University lecturers presented the 1-hour masterclasses, including Q&A, each Thursday afternoon from April to June.
