Making decisions in policing is a dynamic and complex process - the decisions that Police Officers make can have a profound effect on the lives of the people theu come into contact with.
The use of the National Decision Model (NDM) is designed to provide Officers with a framework for decision making at the tactical/operational and strategic levels, and can be used to demonstrate why a particular course was taken in any set of circumstances.
The class will introduce students to the NDM, and will give them an understanding of how it works, both in action and in the follow up stages of an incident.
Attendees at these masterclasses will receive a reduced offer of up to 24 points for future applications to related University of Cumbria courses. Click below for full Terms and Conditions.
