Devised theatre - frequently called collective creation - is a method of theatre-making in which the script or (if it is a predominantly physical work) performance score originates from collaborative, often improvisatory work by a performing ensemble. This is then turned into a script of a partly scripted performance.
In this workshop we will explore a practical introduction to devising as a theatre-making technique as well as key ideas to keep in mind when creating devised theatre pieces.
