Biography
Claire has been a Primary Teacher, School SENCO, Specialist Teacher for SLCN, Area SENCO, Education Improvement Adviser (Early Years SEND) before taking up the role of Senior Lecturer for SEND and Inclusion.

Academic interests include Special Educational Needs Disabilities and Inclusion and Communication and Interaction.
Research supervision
My PHD research is titled (working title): The vocabulary of adulting: investigating the lexis young adults are required to understand and use to advocate for themselves as they transition into independent adulthood
