What's up? Creatively exploring contemporary issues within diverse communities
Prospective employers have indicated repeatedly that they would like graduates who can solve problems creatively.
In this masterclass you will learn academic research skills and participate in discussions about contemporary issues related to children, young people and families. You will have the opportunity to develop your own creative, practical activity based on a relevant issue that can be used with children, young people and families. This could be story-based, a game, toolkit, puzzle or quiz. It's up to you to choose what to create.
The session will be delivered by a leading member of academic staff and has been designed for anyone who has an interest in pursuing a career working with children and families.
You will be awarded 16 UCAS points** for attending this masterclass.
** NB. The reduction will be applied on application. Points cannot be redeemed retrospectively if you have already applied to the university; they can only be redeemed against University of Cumbria courses linked to the masterclass.
