Reframing and Rethinking 'theory' in Action Research Workshop

Room B111, Blencathra Building, CA1 2HH Carlisle - Fusehill Street

BOOK NOW

This day is for anyone interested or involved in action research - students, staff, practitioners and partners.

This day will involve a range of practical and experiential activities to enable you to decide for yourself:

What is and isn't action research?

How can it benefit me and other people?

What are the challenges to using action research in the real world and how do I overcome them?

What is the role of 'theory' in action research? How do we revise, renew, extend and develop our assertions and assumptions about the world from action research projects.

The day is led by Charlotte Hardacre and Professor Kaz Stuart from the University of Cumbria as part of the Practitioner Action Research and Creative Methods Hub and is delivered in partnership with York St John University and the Collaborative Action Research Network.
