Wellbeing - Learning About the Brain
This class will give you strategies to help with everyday stresses and help you to understand a little more about how your brain works in response to situations.
The session will; look at a psychological approach to understanding the old brain (fight and flight) and our newer more rational brain; help participants to join up the physical thoughts, emotions and behaviours when they react to a situation; and look at the balance that needs to be achieved in our busy lives, highlighting the need to do activities that support our wellbeing, alongside academic studies.
Attendees at these masterclasses will receive a reduced offer of up to 16 points for future applications to related University of Cumbria courses. Click below for full Terms and Conditions.
