Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships

Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships name

With this in mind we are currently hosting a series of employer events  which are designed to explain changes to the education and training landscape, provide updates on the new funding system and stimulate thinking about how higher level apprenticeships can be utilised to maximise benefits to their workforce and their business.  The most recent events focused on our HLDA developments for Project Management (level 4), ILM Operations Departmental Manager (level 5) and Chartered Manager Degree (level 6).  Other course developments are focused on providing public sector provision for areas such as Policing, Health and Teaching.

Some key changes for the new Apprenticeship offer:

  • applies to existing staff as well as new staff of any age where the individual needs significant new knowledge and skills
  • higher and degree level apprenticeships available
  • significant government funding available to cover the cost of the apprenticeship training and assessment

Through working closely with employers to develop apprenticeship courses we can ensure that they benefit both the employer and the apprentice.

If you are an employer, or an individual with your employer's backing to study an apprenticeship, get in touch today, either through our Apprenticeship Hub web pages or contact our Employer Engagement Manager ewan.pullan@cumbria.ac.uk.
