3D images created by University of Cumbria students studying games design are among a display of cutting edge designs which will appear within the Great Exhibition of the North in Newcastle and Gateshead.
The course is run at the university’s Brampton Road campus which is home to the annual games jam event which earlier this year played host to teams from across the north.
Cumbria will be showcasing six playable video games along with a number of digital paintings from year 2 students and our graduating students. Students specialising in concept art will also be working live in the exhibition to demonstrate the creative process.
"We are delighted to be taking part in such an exciting event showcasing the best of gaming in the north of England,” Katy Little, senior lecturer in games design, said.
