Training and developing teachers and leaders in schools is vital for the continued success of our economy. The University of Cumbria has a strong history in educating inspiring teachers, and we are proud to announce that we are 3rd in the country for PGCE programme completion*.
With the new year approaching, the University of Cumbria is going the extra mile to meet the demand for teaching professionals in Cumbria and Lancashire. We are delighted to be able to offer January start dates for the PGCE General Primary with QTS (5-11 years), as well as opportunities for professional development with the NPQ Middle Leadership and NPQ Senior Leadership programmes.
There are places on these programmes for a January 2017 start, so if you or someone you know is interested in training to be a teacher or school leader in 2017, direct them to our website or ask them to contact our enquiry centre.
Help your local economy to thrive, and follow in the footsteps of others to become a school leader of the future. Get your new year off to a flying start and sign up for the next cohort of our teaching or leadership programmes.
