University guest lecture tackles the global economy
The University of Cumbria is pleased to announce a guest lecture by John Betteridge, Chief Investment Officer at prestigious wealth management business, Rowan Dartington.
His topical lecture, Plain sailing through troubled waters… global economy, Brexit, Trump and China’s deceleration, will be held at the university’s Fusehill Street campus on Thursday 26 May 2016.
John Betteridge has been in the finance industry for over 30 years, until 2013 as Chief Investment Officer and Executive Board member for the UK Insurance division of Prudential, where he oversaw the investment and asset-liability management of over £150bn of assets in various insurance and unitised funds, including its With Profits Fund.
He now advises various public and private pension funds and consults for a large pan-Asian insurance company, as well as acting as the Chief Investment Officer for Rowan Dartington.
