Businesses are being invited to share their experiences and make new contacts at an event to be held in the region’s newest teaching building.

On Wednesday 6th Sept the University of Cumbria’s new Sentamu Building, in the heart of the university’s Lancaster campus, will play host to the Business Breakfast Networking Event run in partnership with the Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce.

The informal event will provide a great opportunity to network and build relationships with a mix of businesses both large and small from around Lancaster, Cumbria and beyond.

“You’ll have the opportunity to explore our market place where we will be showcasing a range of businesses, join networking tables and listen to businesses promote themselves through quick-fire, 60 second pitches,” Steve Wood, business development manager at the University of Cumbria said. “There’s no charge for the event and we hope it’ll be an ideal location to make contacts as well as explore our latest teaching facilities.”

The £9million Sentamu building will be opened by Edwin Booth the day before the event on Tuesday 5th Sept.
