FAQs

I attended an Open Day, is this the same?

In a nutshell, no. It’s a more personal and detailed day where you can really get to know the people and place where you’ll be spending the next few years.

Is it just a hands-on session?

There will be opportunities to speak to our support services such as finance, admissions and the SU as well as a chance to chat to students currently studying at the University of Cumbria.

Do I have to attend?

You don’t have to attend, but we highly recommend you do. It can give you the confidence that it is the right course, in the right place for you. Meeting future classmates also allows you to make friends before you even step on campus.
