Welcome to your course

Welcome to the BA (Hons) Teaching and Learning programme and the beginning of your learning journey in education. We are really pleased you have chosen to be a part of our programme and are sure you will have a great time at the University of Cumbria. You should be proud of yourself to have got so far!

You can be certain of a high quality course with committed tutors from a variety of education based backgrounds. You can also be certain of a friendly atmosphere and an ethos where ‘every student matters’. We look forward to seeing you in September.

When we meet in Welcome Week, sessions have been timetabled to enable you to get to know your tutors and fellow students on the course. There are also some tasks that you will be asked to complete and bring to share with your Personal Tutor at your first tutorial.
