Welcome to Practice Development: Health and Social Care (top-up)

As Programme Lead, I would like to take this opportunity to say hello and welcome to the BSc (Hons) Practice Development: Health and Social Care (top up) on behalf of myself and the programme team.

You have an exciting year of study ahead of you and whilst there may be times when this may feel a little overwhelming, I would like to assure you that both the programme team and staff on campus are here to offer guidance and support as you navigate your way through your studies.

Head Start Plus - you will already have seen information regarding this in your acceptance letter (you can find the link there too).  Head Start Plus can help prepare you for the transition into the next level of your academic studies and can be studied at your own pace.  The elements within Head Start Plus are designed to target and support different aspects of your learning - there is no pass or fail element, simply support for you to advance in your academic study - I strongly recommend you access this resource.

The welcome week is packed with activities and information, including your induction to this programme but please do let us know if there is any further information or guidance you feel you need.
