DESCRIPTION:Join us for an open day in Carlisle, the home of the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine. Based on our Fusehill Street campus, this event will help to answer your key questions about studying with us, whether it be about the application process, financial support or curriculum. Our Open Days give you the opportunity for you to explore our beautiful campuses each with its own unique characteristics and excellent facilities. Our Fusehill Street campus is home to the Institute of Education, Arts and Society, Institute of Health, Institute for Business, Industry and Leadership, Institute of Science and Environment, and our brand new The Pears Cumbria School of Medicine from 2025. During the day our expert academic staff will be running talks where you can get a real flavour of the course and see how passionate and enthusiastic our tutors are about their specialist areas. Our academics will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about your course of interest. Once you are booked on the event a programme of the day will be sent nearer the time of the event.  Likely activities will include:  Registration University of Cumbria Welcome Talk Course talk Interactive session(s)  Campus tours, Accommodation tours and Support Services drop-in  Rooted in history, this campus has been home to health practices since WWI. The tradition of scientific discovery and incredible health care continues today, with our red brick campus serving as the home of industry experts. Tour our campus and all our top-quality facilities during our next open day.  * Please visit the help desk if you have any specific mobility issues ahead of attending one of our off-site accommodation tours as part of your open event.
