Event Overview

This masterclass will be a chance for you to explore practical skills in developing a character’s physicality. It will cover techniques from a range of practitioners including Rudolph Laban, Jacques Lecoq and Eric Franklin. You will have the chance to play with these techniques in your physical presentation of a character.

We will also look at how these techniques can be used in addition to script and dialogue to develop meaning and intention. You will also look at how these approaches can be used and developed depending on the style of work from realism to post-dramatic. 

This session will last around 2 hours, and will be a practical session so please wear clothing that allows you to perform freely.
