Event Overview

Wildlife Recording is a vital part of conservation biodiversity. This session will explain why recording wildlife is so important and how the information is used. We will explore how you can get involved with recording schemes such as iRecord and iNaturalist.

Tips on how you can identify wildlife will also be given, whether that is using traditional field guides or modern technology. Finally, we'll take a look briefly at field signs - how you might find wildlife when it's not even there!

This session will last around 60 minutes, with plenty of time for audience questions.
