During the academic year LED will offer a series of seminars focusing on key aspects of educational research into higher education.

By combining aspects of methodology and methods with insight into theory and research evidence on key issues for teaching, learning and assessment in higher education, the seminars will be of interest to all those interested in developing research-informed practice in higher education.

Research into Higher Education Conference

Date: Wednesday 17 January 2018
Location: University of Cumbria, Lancaster Campus

This conference will include presentations and research workshops by colleagues from a wide range of subject disciplines and professional fields across the University who have been pursuing practitioner research or innovation in teaching, learning and assessment in higher education.

The conference focuses mainly on the development of teaching, learning and assessment in higher education. This year we are aiming to create a focus on linking the TEF and the REF by asking ‘how might high quality research into higher education help to enhance our teaching and score in the TEF as well as scoring in the REF?’ A call for presentations will be sent out early in the autumn.
