Megan originally worked in child care before starting a degree in Education Studies, but she knew it wouldn’t be a long term career.
“I knew I wanted to work in education and this course offers different opportunities.” She soon found herself enjoying her new life at university, “meeting new people and joining societies” whilst taking her course.
“I’ve really gained more confidence and knowledge in my area, and taken the opportunity to volunteer in different settings, including a summer in Bali. My tutors have been very supportive, and are always available to help me when I need them.”

What would you do differently if you could start again? “I’d believe in my abilities more. I’ll really miss everything about my life at university, including studying in the library and being with my friends. I hope to be teaching at a primary school with my degree, and I know what I’ve learnt will help towards that.”
