Biography
Alice is a lecturer in Photography at the University of Cumbria. She completed an MA in Photography at London College of Communication in 2014 and has since exhibited and given lectures nationally and internationally. Her book, Nothing is Impossible Under the Sun, which brings together material gathered over two years working with migrants and refugees in Calais, was published by SOAP in 2016. Recent residencies include Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and Santa Fe Art Institute. Awards include the Jerwood Award and the IdeasTap/Magnum Photography Award, as well as awards from Creative Scotland and Grants for the Arts.
