I am a Senior Lecturer in Poliing, working as the Programme Leader for the Degree Holder Entry Programme, which is one of the three entry routes into the Police Service. Working with our partners in the Police Education Consortium, we deliver police-entry education to Surrey Police, Sussex Police and Hampshire Constabulary

Prior to joining the University, I was a serving Police Officer with the City of London Police. I spent the majority of my service as a Detective, working in both CID and Major Crime. I worked on a number of serious and complex cases, ranging from fraud and serious sexual assaults, to homicides and terrorism. I received a Commendation for my role as part of the Investigation Team into the 2017 London Bridge Attacks.

I finished my service as a Temporary Sergeant responsible for all student officer training and development. Now with the University, I am enjoying the greater academic side of police education. I have particular interests in investigative interviewing, in particular the psycological aspects and the impacts on memory.
