Biography

I qualified in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) in Radiography from this institution and have worked as a Radiographer in a variety of hospital trusts, gaining experience of CT and angiography before becoming a clinical tutor. I have achieved a certificate in leadership and have had experience of management in two clinical departments.  I have always enjoyed teaching and shortly after joining the University as a lecturer I completed the PGC in learning and teaching and am a fellow of the HEA.  I have recently studied the effects of stress in student radiographers and gained an MSc in Medical Imaging with distinction. Part of this qualification involved a module in radiographic reporting.

My role as a senior lecturer involves teaching both student radiographers and Assistant practitioners.  I have a special interest in radiographic technique, anatomy and physiology.
