Biography
I am Programme Leader for the Diploma (HE) in Counselling and I also teach and supervise students doing their research for the MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked for University of Cumbria since 2005. I am a Chartered Psychologist with a background in management development and organisational change, and a BACP accredited therapist. My therapeutic experience has included working in the NHS, in a University counselling service, in private practice, and with children and young people in schools. I am also a qualified counselling supervisor. I have a strong commitment to the Person Centred Approach, and my interests include spirituality and group dynamics/encounter.
