Biography

Outdoor Demonstrator: Bringing mountaineering and paddle sports expertise to the university in support of the faculty's adventurous activities provision.

I am a climber, skier and paddler based in the English Lake District.

I feel privileged that my career has taken me to some of the world’s wildest places; from working as the head field guide for the British Antarctic survey, spending 18 months on this extraordinary continent to guiding expeditions on technical 7000m peaks in the Tien Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
