Biography

I completed a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics in 1995, then trained as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher. After a range of roles in Secondary Schools I came to what is now the University of Cumbria in 2004 where I gained my PGc in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and my MA in Education.

In my role as Head of Student Recruitment and Portfolio Development I take forward the Institute's plans for ensuring its portfolio remains to be a creative response to the national context.  The institute has a wide portfolio but is primarily focused on teacher education.
