This is an exciting programme of study which, on successful completion, allows students to seek to have their qualification recorded by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and to practise as an Independent Nurse Prescriber (V300).

Our part time course will prepare nurses, midwives and health visitors as independent prescribers. You'll learn to consult effectively with patients and carers, assessing their needs and wishes through understanding the signs and symptoms of the presenting complaint.

Our part-time course will prepare physiotherapists and podiatrists as independent prescribers. You'll learn to consult effectively with patients and carers, assessing their needs and wishes through understanding the signs and symptoms of the presenting complaint.

Our course will teach you the skills, knowledge and understanding to work with children and families in a variety of contexts, and help you learn how to best showcase your abilities to employers.
