PGCE

General Primary with QTS - Mathematics specialism (PGCE)

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective primary school teacher. With our PGCE programme, you'll develop as an independent learner, and nurture the beliefs, values and self-motivation that you will need throughout your career. Qualified teacher status (QTS) is built in, so by the end of the course you'll be fully equipped to start your first teaching post.

Independent Prescribing for Pharmacists (Practice Certificate in Independent Prescribing) - Level 7

Our part time course will prepare pharmacists as independent prescribers. You'll learn to consult effectively with patients and carers, assessing their needs and wishes through understanding the signs and symptoms of the presenting complaint.

MSc

Medical Imaging (Ultrasound) (part-time)

The MSc Medical Imaging (Ultrasound) programme designed for healthcare professionals undertaking obstetrics, gynaecology, general medical (abdominal and small parts), vascular, breast, musculoskeletal ultrasound training or a negotiated area of practice. It allows you to develop your academic abilities and clinical skills in preparation for working as a sonographer. It is accredited by the Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education (CASE).

Our part time course will prepare nurses, midwives and health visitors as independent prescribers. You'll learn to consult effectively with patients and carers, assessing their needs and wishes through understanding the signs and symptoms of the presenting complaint.

Our part-time course will prepare physiotherapists and podiatrists as independent prescribers. You'll learn to consult effectively with patients and carers, assessing their needs and wishes through understanding the signs and symptoms of the presenting complaint.
