Course outline

Insightful and creative supervision is crucial to developing counselling practice. We provide a unique opportunity to share and examine your own practice with others in order to develop your own approach as a supervisor. Whether you've held a supervision practice for years or you've just started as a supervising counsellor, you'll benefit from a shared wealth of experience to develop your skills further.

We are ideal for students who have already worked as therapeutic practitioners (usually for more than 2 years) who wish to improve their expertise as supervisors. You'll look at the key academic and professional issues involved in supporting, developing and maintaining professional standards. Studying closely with your peers and our expert teaching staff, you'll soon gain the skills you need for successful supervision of counselling and therapeutic practice.
